Bored this summer? Flannel’s Got You Covered!

Tans may fade, but memories will last forever. If you’re looking for some hip things to do right here in the U.S. of A, The Flannel has the perfect ideas!

  1. While in Philadelphia, you have to go check out the 8-foot long colon housed in the Mutter Museum! Fun fact: it resulted from someone’s untreated chronic constipation- LOL.
  2. The Bathroom at the Gas Station on Route 9 off exit 16 is the destination for anyone looking to preemptively put four or more layers of toilet paper on their toilet seat.
  3. The Kansas Barbed Wire Museum, or the “Barbed Wire Capital of the World,” is practically made for all of you barbed wire fans out there. See, touch, taste, and smell the highest variety of wire and let your senses lead the way!
  4. This one’s for all you girls with hair! We know you all have heard about Independence, Missouri and its famous party scene. However, a little-known spot called Leila’s Hair Museum in downtown Independence should really be getting you excited about making the trip. You can view “hair bouquets” (a trendy DIY) and ornate hair designs, along with much, much more!
  5. Ladies, if you’re unlucky in love, the Taxidermy Museum in Schenevus, New York is the perfect place to meet a hot taxidermied animal.
  6. Now for the coup de gras: the Museum of Menstruation in a suburb of Washington, D.C. is devoted to sharing the history of the culture of menstruation with all. This is a great place to bring a date (the animal you met at the Taxidermy Museum?) and a cool way to impress your parents!
