Have you been on the hunt for a fall-themed movie that’s perfect to enjoy while snuggling up in a blanket and drinking a warm pumpkin spice latte? Ranging from classics like Scooby Doo! to recent productions such as Little Women, this article is sure to help you find your ideal fall movie!

  1. Hotel Transylvania 

Animated hit Hotel Transylvania depicts the clash of the monster and human worlds in humorous and adventurous ways. Count Dracula, owner of the popular monster vacation spot, Hotel Transylvania, tries his hardest to prevent his daughter, Mavis, from falling in love with a human visitor. This classic is a perfect movie to watch with the whole family.

  1. Little Women

Based on the 1868 novel by Louisa May Alcott, Little Women (2019) focuses on when the March sisters are reunited by the discovery of one of the sisters, Beth, developing a life-threatening illness. With numerous scenes in a beautiful autumn background and an overall New England fall aesthetic, this movie is a must-watch for the season.

  1. Scooby-Doo! and the Witch’s Ghost

One of the many Scooby-Doo! animated movies, Scooby-Doo! and the Witch’s Ghost is set in the fictional town of Oakhaven, Massachusetts, and tells the story of how Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Incorporated gang go visit a renowned author who has an ancestor that is supposedly a witch. Full of Halloween themes and spooky surprises, this cartoon movie is a perfect candidate for an enjoyable fall film.

  1. Coraline

Inspired by the 2002 acclaimed novella by Neil Gaiman, Coraline (2009) tells the tale of a young girl who finds a secret passageway in her new house that leads to a parallel universe; she soon finds out the secrets of this alternate universe, and the too-perfect world is not really as it seems…
